Global Warming For President!!!

A few weeks ago I was riding through suburban Chicago with my friend Dave, his wife and his teenage son.

It was the night of Obama's election, so naturally we went looking for a Dairy Queen.

Or maybe we were looking for a tequila place and gun stores.

No - it was a Dairy Queen, on account of Dave's kid being underage. Dairy Queen is a brilliant US icecream chain.

We, all of us right-wing fascists sworn to continue the Bushitler regime into its next deathmongering McCain incarnation, were seeking comfort food after the Obama victory.

Then we saw the signs, propped up in several front yards: Vote Against Global Warming.

That's not such a bad thing, I ventured aloud. After all, if you can vote against something, you can probably also vote for it. At that moment Dave's son came up with the perfect slogan for the 2012 US election: Global Warming for President!

The boy's a genius. How could global warming possibly lose?
