But also note that even although a country may be swimming in oil, it is no use unless the supply is tapped. Alaska is swimming in oil but the government doesn't let it be mined and so the illusion of scarcity is created.

Otherwise it's just bits and pieces." Oil is most assuredly a "fossil fuel" based upon its biomarker content, geochemical "fingerprinting" back to its source rock, and its distribution in time ans space. As I mentioned above, we will not absolutely run-out of oil, but we will, in our lifetime, experience what some call "The big turnover", i.e., when new supply cannot keep up with demand. Many researchers haves put this event at circa 2010 - 2015. Myself, I don't think it'll occur until a bit after that ( but I've always been optimistic ) - say 2020.
I fear that comments like yours will not help the situation and lead people into thinking that some dark conspiracy is all that keeps us from an eternal life inside a Normal Rockwell Saturday Evening Post cover. We must all understand the hole we have dug for ourselves and reach some sort of consensus as to how to get out. This would have to come from the supply side as well as the demand side and be truly multinational. It will be painful.

To my knowledge what has been found in meteorites are some basic amino acids, some fatty acids and some assorted carbon based compounds. These are not the biomarkers found in oil and some scientists do not call them biomarkers at all (see http://www.dimaggio.org/Evolution/we_are_star-stuff.htm) because they can be produced by nonbiological processes. If anything, these organic chemicals suggest the possibility of precursors for life. If that's the case then the meteorites simply have provided the chemical soup necessary to get life going on this planet and begin the process of generating BIOTIC petroleum.

The writer says he slowly became aware of a plot to bankrupt the project. He also says that the company was only allowed to mine one 100 acre square area but that there are very many more areas which have proven oil deposits which nobody is allowed to mine.
I don't know how a person actually proves such things, but I generally rely on the balance of probabilities and check them off against known facts. For instance, they say we have an oil crisis, and they say that oil is a fossil fuel. But are these things really true?

5. Apparently Russia has developed the technology to find and mine oil with a new oil science developed since 1951.
6. I think the nature of oil has been deliberately represented ie, that it is a fossil fuel. Oil has been found at levels where no fossils would ever have gotten to, and in quantities where there wouldn't have been enough living plants or animals to account for.

There is plenty of middle room between the extremes. But the only way to do that under the current system is to have 'the people' (in the name of government) look out for their own best interests, against the high profit short-sighted greedy (usually businssmen with dollar signs for eyes)who never learned not to steal, or to clean up their mess as they go.

Some people are trying to turn all of organic chemistry into a sound bite. And not all organic (carbon) chemistry necessarily has a biological origin. Some people need to have paid more attention in high school, I think. It sounds like there is some sloppy chemistry going on here, in an attempt to scare the former kids who skipped Chem 1. This is not 'new' news.

Explain this. I would think that people would realize that excessuve radionuclides are not good for people. (My mother died of leukemia, brought on by 'medical' radiation. I've come across a couple of examples - 1) is where there have been lies told about the length of time for breakdown of nuclear waste which if used for domestic and industry use, would be a great benefit to the world. Apparently Greenpeace is funded by some of these interests which was a surprise to me. 2) the second example is regarding the building of the alaska pipeline which went from an initial $600 million cost to a blowout of $12 billion (in 1976) due to bureaucratic red tape, supposedly over environmental concerns, to deliberately sabotage the project.

The US government isn't what you think it is. Back in 1871 there was a legal manouvre whereby a corporation called "THE UNITED STATES" was formed in Columbia. Sorry to hear about your mother. However, I've read that the breakdown of nuclear energy has been brought down to a very short period, probably weeks. An article was written by a person who used to work for the Atomic Energy Commission in Australia.

Don't know about this. What happened exactly? Russia is oil self-sufficient, there are stories that Russia is a non-OPEC country, but tries to stick to OPEC limits on oil production.

Politicians, including most revolutionaries, negotiate, giving up anything less important for something more important. So just who is Rockefeller Oil these days? During the trust busting days the US Government disbanded "Standard Oil" as it was then called into separate entities. I am amongst those geos who think we can easily walk a middle ground between rape and pillage extraction, and not disturbing a blade of grass anywhere. There is plenty of middle room between the extremes. But the only way to do that under the current system is to have 'the people' (in the name of government) look out for their own best interests, against the high profit short-sighted greedy (usually businssmen with dollar signs for eyes)who never learned not to steal, or to clean up their mess as they go.
This is admirable. My view is that if it weren't for all the suppression of technology, we would have something called free energy which wouldn't require any mining or pollution.
The writer says he slowly became aware of a plot to bankrupt the project. He also says that the company was only allowed to mine one 100 acre square area but that there are very many more areas which have proven oil deposits which nobody is allowed to mine.
These people are playing for keepsies. No secret there. But you have not identified any of the players on either side.
The US government isn't what you think it is. Back in 1871 there was a legal manouvre whereby a corporation called "THE UNITED STATES" was formed in Columbia. I don't know how a person actually proves such things, but I generally rely on the balance of probabilities and check them off against known facts. For instance, they say we have an oil crisis, and they say that oil is a fossil fuel. But are these things really true?
The only oil crisis is one of 'cheap oil'. Get it? Upon closer examination, 'oil' is often used as shorthand for liquid hydrocarbons. Some people are trying to turn all of organic chemistry into a sound bite. And not all organic (carbon) chemistry necessarily has a biological origin. Some people need to have paid more attention in high school, I think. It sounds like there is some sloppy chemistry going on here, in an attempt to scare the former kids who skipped Chem 1. This is not 'new' news.

There is enough oil in Alaska to US requirements for 200 years at growing trends, more oil than currently exists in Saudi Arabia. However, this knowledge is suppressed by vested interests and the desire to manufacture a myth of oil scarcity.
Just who are these 'vested interests'? The 'myth of oil scarcity' is simply non-existent to anyone who understands basic economics. I have heard no one say we are running out of oil in the near future. Cheap oil, yes. And that is understandable given the market influences on the resource.
