What qualifies as CNG? I used to run duel fuel Natural Gas/gasoline in my

Chevy S10, which was at normal distribution line pressure - well over atmospheric, but probably not the pressures you mean.
For that sort of NG vehicle, you need tanks, a feed to the injectors, a switch to go from gasoline to NG, and a little computer module that lies to the vehicle's built-in computer so that it advances (?) the timing.
There are NG fueling stations across S. Ontario and you can also install a fueling station at home. When I started using it, the price compared very favorably with gasoline, but I only got about 200km on two large tanks, so I had to refuel twice as often as with gasoline. Eventually, we ditched it (all the equipment except the rented tanks is still on the truck) when it got to be more expensive. If you have a home fueling station, it's cheaper - but they only leased those, so you needed to have your home using NG and two full-time vehicles, to make it worthwhile. -- derek

Most popular CNG kits are from Italy...if you do a google search for CNG kits you will find many links from Italy.
I am using it overseas and it is very cheap, engine starting needs to be done on regular gas and once engine running simply switch over to CNG, that could be through manual switch or automatic, both options are available based on CNG kit price. Kit contains a low presure valve which convert high pressure CNG gas to low pressure. Two types of kit you will find one is for old type carburetors and 2nd one is for new fuel injection type autos. Engine size count here too.
Remember if you wanna drive your auto most of the time on gas then the engine oil is different for CNG operating autos. A good example is Honda Civic CNG which you can find only in California. Check Honda web site.
Bottom line is....nothing biggie in using CNG. With standard CNG tank, you can go like 160 Miles if engine is 1.2 litter. With bigger engine may be you can go a lil bit more depending on size of gas tank fitted in trunk. I am using regular Oxygen gas tank that you have seen at most of the welders work shop.
Regarding re-fueling of gas tank..I agreed with earlier post you need to have some kinda home setup to refuel cauz thats the most economical. Overseas we have option of CNG or regular gas at every gas station. Its widely available and dirt cheap. I do have home re-fueling system self made....using regular air compressor and a pressure meter, working fine for me....:-) If you wanna buy a commercialy made home re-fueling system then its around $3000 and only available in California or in Canada. Do a search under " home re-fueling CNG kit" on Google and it will get you the link.
Good luck
