Tsk, tsk, tsk, Gavin.
Not the place to advertise.
OTOH if some one was asking for an installer in SA you could respond.
How's business in the city of churchs.

Hi Gavin, welcome to the group! My friend Eric usually helps me with my solar system but he's stumped on a question. Can you or anyone else help me with it? I have a small system and I wait until my batteries are down to 12V and then I start charging them at 15V. My charger is 35A and I start off at full output for an hour, then I reduce to 25A for an hour, then I reduce to 15A for half an hour, then I reduce to 6A for another half an hour, and by then the batteries won't take any more. Once I unplug the charger the battery voltage is 13.5V and I'm pretty sure they're full because if I let them sit until the next morning they read 12.8V. They're a few years old but Eric says you can tell they're happy if they don't bubble much. Anyway my question is, how much usable capacity do my batteries have?

All those who didn't rush to email Gavin begging him not to respond, please step forward. Not so fast there Ghio....
George, did you come clean with Gavin and tell him that the only reason he should waste an opportunity to demonstrate his knowledge was that his answer would cause further embarrassment for *you*? I'm thinking you fed him a load of Ghioisms instead. My guesses -
"Gavin, that post has a virus in it! Whatever you do, don't respond!"
"Gavin, Stanley Marsh is a known troublemaker in solar circles, please don't encourage him. Other people you should watch out for are Kyle Broslofski and Eric Cartman."
"Gavin, I was just called in to consult on an emergency reboot of Usenet. Don't bother responding to any posts until I give you the all-clear."
"Gavin, this exact same question comes up frequently. By not answering you'll be encouraging posters to check the archives, which will conserve precious bandwidth."
"Gavin, it's a trick question, you'd need my spreadsheet to answer it correctly. How soon can you send me $25?"
"Gavin, I called dibs on alt.solar.photovoltaic. Find your own newsgroup."
"Gavin, only a nitwit would fail to realize that if he starts at 25% and finishes at 100%, then his usable capacity has to be something less than he put in with the charger. It's obviously a BS story, so don't answer."

Now that's creative writing.

A writing compliment from a hack....ouch! Now I know how poor Gavin feels, posting a simple introduction, and receiving an unsolicited smear-by-association from the group's LVP.

Totally wrong but creative.

Add another lie to your tally. I don't use you methods runaway. Still it is interesting to see how you operate under you multiple personalities.

I'm SO impressed with your sleuthing there Detective Magoo! Should there be any readers more muddle-minded than yourself, your comments are a good lesson for them - anytime Baghdad Bob or one of the South Park characters respond to your posts, watch out, it *might* be fake.
