Interesting how they've "modified" their product line to be hydrogen-fueled, instead of natural gas with a reformer. _Still_ can't buy a Plug-Power unit, and I've been trying since 1999, and they weren't "new" then.
Sigh.

Well, given that minor dissection of their fiscal reports a year or two ago revealed a unit cost in the $100,000 plus range (sales income .vs. units sold) with a very limited lifetime (units in operation, .vs. units sold in a year), I'd suggest that you can actually buy a microturbine that will burn whatever fuel you want and likely run longer for about the same money, and from someone who actually sells the things. Of course, in 1998 they said the units would cost $8,000 to $15,0000 and be available in 1999...
Or you can buy 15-20 good diesel gensets and a lot of soundproofing with the same money, or one soundproofed diesel genset and a Ferrari...
